It’s probably just a seizure. I don’t think they’re dangerous in Kaleb’s case IIRC, but it would be enough to freak Colin out since I don’t think he’s been been there for one before?

Technically that *day* was his last seizure (three days ago now, unless Ive lost count again), and Colin hasn’t ever seen one.
Remains to be seen if Flora has warned him about it… she could have done so “off-panel”
There are a number of options for what was really going on with Tibron. Yes, it’s always possible that he stole Benni or some such… but honestly, not really likely. Benni’s been using the Suback name and has been registered for school… that shouldn’t be possible, even in the 90s, even in Appalachia, without some kind of paperwork. Besides which, Benni mentioned his Grandmother, who lives far away. I’ve thought that could be the case as well. It would make the most sense, anyway, for Tibron to be some stepdad or something. That being said. from what I can tell from my brief research into the subject, school systems in the 90s were still decentralized and while awareness was rising, it wasn’t universal yet. Many school systems were still informal about a lot of things, and for a small town in Appalachia, it wasn’t outside of the realm of possibility for someone to be able to register a child that wasn’t really theirs if they could provide some… Read more »

But then, I both grew up in small-town Appalachia (60s and 70s), and sent my own kids to school in small-town Appalachia.
Maybe it was just my districts, but they were *fanatical* about records. We had some serious difficulty one year when we switched houses and my son’s immunization record card disappeared. This in spite of the fact that the school *literally* had a copy of the same card in their own files.
Uh-oh; I’m gonna guess by Colin’s urgency that Kaleb’s spaciness wasn’t just him enjoying his wiggle worm…….

Just a note; when Tanya was attacked, Kaleb had TWO seizures, not just the one.
He had another during her rape, combined with the one you linked where he was trying to get out of there.

As far as Benni’s “Granny” (as he referred to her), I really hope that’s not the case as I was hoping eventually she’d make an appearance  😉
