Dang it. I think I have a cavity from how sweet and wholesome this is. Bennies a good kit at heart and just wanting to be one and Colin’s a good dad too. Definitely helped that poor sad otter feel better! <3
The one good thing that’s come out of all the horror Benni had to face is that he’s found a much better dad.
A more wholesome comic than I thought it might turn out to be after Kaleb mentioned thinking about all the fun he could have with Colin. He and Benni haven’t been particularly shy about their hopes to fool around…

Yes,…I’m glad it took that more wholesome turn toward more publicly favorable, normal kid stuff. As much as they are finally able to deal with the more consensual aspects of sexuality with Colin and Flora’s intervention (instead of the incredibly abusive atmosphere things have unfortunately happened in), it’s especially gratifying for me to see cubs like Benni finally thinking about regular fun aspects of just being a kid in a healthy environment of potential interactions with other kids doing publicly favorable things like camping, hiking, and camp-based group activities…
Normal is subjective it all depends on what you are surrounded by or the majority are doing.
Indeed,….”normal” is ALWAYS subjective, which is why I also preceded it with both the qualifiers of “wholesome” and “publicly favorable”, and then more fully rounded it out with the lengthy descriptive phrase of “regular fun aspects of just being a kid in a healthy (meaning non-abusive) environment of potential interactions with other kids doing publicly favorable things like camping, hiking, and camp-based group activities”… My intent, of course, was to weed out any subjectivity of “normal” referring to the kind of abusive crap that Benni has already been forced to live through up until now, and instead focus on whatever… Read more »

I mean, my younger brother went to Punkin’ Chunkin several times when he was in college, so I guess it wouldn’t be out of the question
I think it’s basically the same thing, but plastic barrels can be used over and over whereas pumpkins (punkins) can only be used once.
That’s a feature, not a bug 😉
My mind immediately tried to envision something like the Scottish Caber throw, but with a barrel.
And btw, in case anybody’s thinking it, I didn’t misspell “pumpkin”. The event is actually called “Punkin Chunkin”. 😄
