On the one hand, it means he didn’t subject his own child to horrific abuse while also neglecting him, just some random kid. There’s also the possibility that he was “adopted” (to not say ‘bought’) as a small cub by Ty from some adoption center with a history of child trafficking (à la Tennessee Children’s Home Society) but he didn’t remember/know anything about it.
Tibron (if that’s his real name) may have have changed his name and started living off the grid if he did kill Benni’s parents. Also, is Benni’s name really his if that’s the case?
It would still be possible to find out if that happened. When Richard Jewell was falsely accused of having planted the bomb at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, it took years of investigation, but they did find and convict the real bomber.

Tibiron murdered Benni’s actual parents and simply took the kid with him.
Highly unlikely. Tibron would have been traced too easily, even in those days.
