Of course. The medical staff is going to know all her symptoms so they will know what happened to Tanya, and treat he accordingly.
True, absolutely true. But they also need to know that she’s thrown up. For all they know there could be stuff they need to know about in that vomit.
From personal and family experience, I can tell you that vomit is a very typical reaction to coming out of sedation.
I’ve been sedated for medical operations, but never felt nauseated afterward. Maybe it’s because I always got carefully measured doses and I’m larger than Tanya.
Ditto. But it still happened.
Same. I had to go in for emergency surgery and got violently sick afterwards, which was just insult to injury as it was for an abdominal stab wound. No fun.
Also, it wouldn’t be unheard of for Tanya to get sick like that if she has a concussion as well. Poor kit…
Physiologically speaking, everyone reacts a bit differently to medications and sedations, that is why doctors take histories, have so many options including new ones coming out all the time that they have to constantly study and look up new treatments, and why anesthesiologists exist to carefully monitor sedation.

Looking back, it doesn’t seem like Benni beat Jestan nearly as bad as Jestan beat Tanya.
And I can guarantee Jestan won’t want the cops or the hospital involved.
I wonder what he’ll tell his Dad, tho. THAT’S where the real trouble for Benni will come from.
Jestin better keep his yap shut, if his dad gets the cops after Benny when the truth comes out there’s going to be hell to pay. I’m not saying Benny is blameless’ I’m not saying he doesnt have a debt to pay. But if there is any justice, Benny tried to do the right thing, and should be rewarded– even if he went about it the wrong way… Life ain’t fair, but gotta say, Karma has a wicked sense of atomic-wedgies waiting for Jestin, unless I miss my guess.
Remember that Jestan’s dad is a lawyer. It really depends on what KIND of lawyer (Say, if he’s a family lawyer, that’s better for Our Heroes than if he’s the local Prosecutor).
Actually going back he didn’t state that his father was a lawyer but had one. Regardless, one is assuming that there would be more than one sleezeball schiester that would take the case to defend Jastyn if the money was right. Here’s hoping that Colin gets a smart DA and prosecutor and the judge that we’ve already seen. And one is also hoping that Benni would be given leniency considering his age, his own background of abuse, and whatever Good Samaritan laws might exist.
Knowing Jestan, he is going to lie his ass off about what happened to Tanya saying that Benni was the one who beat her up and molested her. But if he does do that, he may have forgotten about five other kits who knows what really happened… LaRoy Beth-Anne Kaleb Benni and Tanya Jestan may try to say that all five were lying to get him in trouble in order to deflect the blame from him. This is supposed to be the 1990’s, and though DNA testing was less sophisticated then, it was still good enough to prove who did anything to a person and who did not.
Jestan’s father may be a lawyer, but even the best lawyer can only do so much. O. J. Simpson walked free not because of his great legal team, but because the judge and prosecution were so inept.
That’s exactly the first thing that happened when I came out of sedation after my transplant and they had me sit up.
Oof…It just pains me a lot to see Tanya like this. It’s a good thing that she’s getting better. Jestan better get the worst punishment that’ll haunt him like PTSD
I don’t wish PTSD on anyone, seeing what it does to the innocent makes me unable to wish that on the guilty.
I only ask that he get the Karma that is due for his actions. No more, no less. … Definitely not less… But not more, either.
