Well, it seems that Uncle Griff is trying to teach Talitha know what her dad did was bad but it seems that her conditioning is strong. I’m afraid that it’s going to take many years to undo all that grooming and conditioning that Ray did to her in such a short time. Sad thing when she finally realizes what Ray did and was doing to her, she’ll never forgive him and may never want to see him again.
All I have to say to Uncle Griff, is “Good Luck. You are going to need it.”
Poor thing; she just doesn’t understand the impact of what her dad did. I also can’t help but notice she’s claiming that she was never touched even though we know she was but I guess that’s part of her conditioning, to keep it all to herself. Hopefully, her family has the understanding needed to help her.

Talitha might need a hug after receiving the news. While her conditioning might take a long while to undo, I hope her uncle and family do their best to help her.
I also hope that she doesn’t start to blame herself for Ray’s arrest nor hate Benni for the things he was forced to do with her.

I thought Flora was told to tell Benni and Talithia that there fathers were in jail? I guess she didn’t. At least not to Talithia anyways.
I don’t think she ever got around to it at all; at least, I don’t remember any chapter where she mentions it.
There is much to be undone…
