I will need to point out that it’s not a crime scene, it’s a point of investigation so it doesn’t merit the same scrutiny and security as a crime scene. Also they cleaned out the basement so they probably thought they got everything and there was nothing more to be had.
Still, to not fix the door is a crime in itself because cherry pickers could come on by and pick up some nice little gifts.
It’s been multiple days at this point, they have collected evidence and there’s no reason to “secure the crimescene” since they already have video evidence.

And yeah, where IS the officer that’s supposed to be securing this kind of crime scene? I know it’s been a bit, but it’s still odd if the tape’s still up.
“Gag me with a spoon” was a Valley speak term from the early 1980’s, but I hardly heard that type of slang used in real life conversations. Also I heard of the word “schwing” but I never heard that in real life conversation either.
So the cops just left the door open for anybody to get in? Also, making a prediction; they’re gonna start playing around with toys, then they’ll “play” with each other in the room, a cop will come by and catch them and that’ll get them in trouble. I don’t want this to be right, but I feel like that’s where this is going.
I have only read a little more than half of the pages but but to me this feels a tactical nuke of new information. I knew about the whole pediphile thing. What I didn’t know about was the back story between Benni and Talithia. I had know idea Benni had a second home a Talithia’s place and the sex he was doing there involved sex toys. This also makes me wonder what Benni and Talithia have done together.
Talitha’s father forced Benni to have sex with her and also molested Benni himself. From what Benni has said in the past, Tali’s dad was one of the people who “rented” him regularly so it’s not surprising he gave him his own room, though this is the first time it’s been specifically mentioned.
if you can get the time to do so, it’s worth going through the comic from the start, imo anyway. It would fill in some missing details you might be wondering about, if you have any of course… and of course you already know this and my comment is just completely pointless lol

Man, is it good to see all that crap didn’t mentally scar Benni.
Near the beginning of the comic Benni actually told Flora that he was completely fine with the sex. That it was just his father trying to raise him right and doing what he had to do. Tho in the same conversation Benni also said that he did not like having sex with Talithia and ultimately ended up running away to avoid it.
Yeah…despite his rough introduction, the kid’s actually…a REALLY good kid. Flora really needs to push for adoption.

We are learning alot more about the life of these people here. The horror and twisted love.
Tali and Benni lived here with Tali’s dad. Benni seems comfortable here, without a care in the world. He seems to be smiling. He seems more sad that stuff is missing.

For what I’ve read, Benny clearly didn’t know about Ray’s arrest (either he didn’t read/completely watch the news, or didn’t hear from Flora).But did he know about his “father’s” arrest, I wonder?

I was a substitute teacher for awhile and it was pretty in-vogue among the middle-schoolers about 4-5 years after Wayne’s World came out.
They had no clue what they were saying, of course.
