…I don’t get it. I only ever heard “Mama Joon” was a title in Barry Hutchinson’s Space Team book series. Each title is a spoof or reference of some kind, but I was never able to figure out “The Guns Of Mama Joon”. The titular character in the book is kind of an intergalactic gunrunner, posing as a nice elderly alien woman running a restaurant staffed by orphans as a cover. She really IS nice, though.
In panel 4, Joon should say “we can talk about that when I get back.”
Ok, well, at least they’re actually listening to her about Jestan now but will they realize how bad he really is?
