When people found out about my own molestation, I got rather made fun of and bullied as well, it’s what drove me so deep in the closet I even forgot I was gay until I was thirty, and what got my mom and step-dad to decide I’d be much better off living back in Huntsville with my grandparents. Words hurt, often far more than we know.
Oh, people get bullied for anything and everything, being intelligent, being not so intelligent, being a boy, being a girl, being confused as to which you are, you name it, people get bullied about it.
Back in middle school, a rumor started circulating about a friend of mine being gay.
He wasn’t (or so he told me afterwards), but because he looked slightly girly, (He had longish hair, not uncommon for the 70s, but also really long eyelashes) some believed it.
Some guys from the High School (next door) caught him after school and put him in the hospital for a month.
Bullying is insidious, and the stories don’t even have to be true.

It’s hard for me to imagine someone being bullied for being molested, but I guess some people are just that cruel
