Honestly I’m pretty sure Tali really likes anyone in front of her that isn’t being downright abusive to her; and potentially even if they are. The precise term is reactive attachment disorder.
Of course the fact that Kaleb is actually nice to her and a has one of those cool penis things she is so interested in doesn’t hurt, but she hardly needs it to get attached.
